Thanks to Bev for hosting a great meme today.
1. Which is more romantic: an expensive, glittering bouquet OR flowers that were hand-picked as they grew beside the parkway? Call me crazy, (everyone knows I am CRAZY!) but I think a plant that’s alive. Better than dead flowers.
2.Do you know yourself well enough to understand why you feel the way you do? Yes. I am depressed. But unlike most cases, I understand why. My wife left just weeks before the pandemic. I can’t hit a bar or a singles’ event until “after”.
3.Which do you do more often: let movies, songs and books put your feelings into words for you or put your feelings into words by yourself? Music. I listen every day & spend hours to both hear new music and check out old songs that I love but never recorded them.
4.Do you believe celebrities when they are endorsing a product? Generally not. When I was in Hartford radio I was asked to endorse a store I had never seen. I refused. I nearly got fired, but I wouldn’t do it. So some must have integrity. But few.
5.What kind of movies do you wish were made more often? I’m a guy. If I did not answer “PORN” I’d be thrown out of the “Terrible Bad Boy’s Club”!
6.Does fashion matter to you? Only as far as which rock band’s tee I am wearing.
7.Should politicians be held to the same legal standards as everyone else? No. They should be held higher.
- If you became president, whom would you invite to sing at your inauguration? Jimmy Buffett. And you thought I’d pick Paul. I know. I am not a “parrot head’. In my first divorce I put a Jimmy Buffett LP on and every song spoke to me. The entire album is about relationships ending and new ones. “Last Mango in Paris” was the title. Now I love all his music, but that one will always be my fave.
9. Do you try to write/say what you are feeling in a true and simple way? Nope. I had to stop seeing my neighbor’s wife for chissake. Or confess to the French Twins’ parents that I am not their financial advisor.
10.What is your worst daily habit? I can’t answer. I have way too many of them.
11.If you had your choice which one TV show would you have canceled? “My Mom’s a Porn Star”. It started fine but then when “mom” was recruiting more, it’s glimmer kinda came off. Who wants to see a mother try to recruit a nun for porn? It was amazing how many nuns she got, however.
12.Do you like the taste of sweet or salt? Pass. The salt, I mean.
13.Are you very precise about what words you use to describe your feelings and thoughts? Yes & no.
14.What do you feel the most guilty about? Regrets… I’ve had a few. But guilt? Not in a very long time.
15.Does you meditate? Does getting stoned count?
Hope you’re fine. On my plate is a possible move to Boston. I love the city. I spent four years of college in Back Bay, and got hired to a radio management job for a couple of more years later on. My oldest son & his family live there. If I move I could be very connected to my grandchildren. The only reason not to is it would effect WTIT. We are turning to zoom because of, well you know. If it works it would be a no-brainer. Even then, before the pandemic we recorded every other month. So should I stay for less than a week with that? I think not. Never mind. I think I’ll go. But not before all this shit ends. Thanks for stopping by. We will see you next time. Right here. Same time. Same blog.

A move to Boston? Wow! You’d have to take up with Irish Twins. 😉
They’re a package deal!
“My Mom’s a Porn Star” ?? You learn of tv shows I’ve never heard of. I’m not into porn, but seeing a nun convinced…after 12 yrs of Catholic school…sounds intriguing.
That’s funny! Thx…
Hi Bud. It is good to see you. Best of luck on your move and what decision to make. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

I get confused with choices…
Good luck in the moving to Boston. What a great place, actually.
A live plant is just the thing! Friends sent us a “bouquet” of live plants four years ago and some of them are still thriving.
No, getting stoned doesn’t count. Lol.. the idea! Silly you, but a delightful answer none the less.
Thanks!
