The Book of Me, Chapter 2 “ID-OLOGY”
See “Bud’s Back”. That post for explains what we are doing. Feel free to steal each chapter’s questions.
Your name? Every chapter, really?
Current age? 67. Yes I know. Thanks. I know I look a a tiny bit younger. It’s preservatives. I learned that if you eat food with a ton of them. I figured if they preserve the food so well, they might preserve me.
Height: 5′ 11″
Weight: I have weighed 205 for most of my adult life. I had a 38″ waist since my twenties. In the last three months I have lost 20 lbs. My waist now is a 34. My cardiologist was worried. So I went to my PC doc. He said while it’s a bit unusual, my new weight is actually healthier. So he basically said, “Enjoy!”
Describe your physical appearance and typical behavior so that a complete stranger could pick you out of a crowd. Besides my height & weight since you already know them how to describe my appearance? Check out the photo above. My wife had to do a photo shoot at work. And yes she edits them. Before she did every member of the Church where she works, she practiced on me. I love this head shot. Even I can see that I’m not 67. I must be 47. So now I carry a copy around so when I meet people I can show them how I REALLY look. Also I’ll be wearing my “Sisters of the Tiny Breasts” tee shirts. It’s for a good cause. Why should just the rich buy great breasts
Do you have distinguishing features, such as a birthmark, scar, tattoo, big teeth or a mole? Scars on my back. You just can’t have 9 back related surgeries without scars. Also, I’ve had two neck surgeries. Bottom line? I walk with a cane for balance issues. But when I broke my neck, I was paralyzed and scared. My neurosurgeon is awesome. All other symptoms, except my balance. I was very lucky.
With signature clothes or accessories, what do you usually sport? I’d be a man who usually wears black. When I dress up, it’s black. Casually? Jeans and a Beatles tee. I recently added tees to show support of Coldplay, Nirvana, Aerosmith & Green Day.
What mannerisms distinguish you? Mostly my wise ass sense of humor. It helped out a lot during my radio career.
So that’s Chapter Two. There are a million chapters, so I’ll be at this for a while. Let me know what you think in the comments. We’ll do this again. Same time, same blog.

Shit! NINE surgeries! You poor guy! I am so glad you’ve been able to retain your sense of humor after all that.
