Kathy and I had bought tickets to Bill Shatner’s one man show at The Bushnell in Hartford. Because of my neck (three fractures) which I thought I’d share over the weekend in a post but I couldn’t physically do it. So we decided to give the seats away. But then Kathy thought of contacting the theater to see if they could help me in and out safely. They were terrific. So with my walker we headed for valet parking and the help getting in. We had a terrific time. And guess who I got to meet after the show? Thanks to all, but especially my wife Kathy. I doubt I will be anywhere but bed for a while to come, but I am thrilled with Kathy, The Bushnell and my old place of employment, WRCH. And thank you Allison for filling in to host Sunday Stealing…
Oh, Bud, I’m sorry you’re feeling poorly. But you look healthier in that shot than Shat*, so I’m sure you’ll be feeling better soon. I’m giving Kathy an admiring golf clap for the way she made it all happen to you.
*William Shatner is the eternal dream lover of my oldest friend, and Shat is our pet name for him.
