When you get to be my age you have to be realistic. Often when I meet someone they are surprised by my age. I tend to be guessed younger by 10 years or so. It’s always be
en that way. Years ago I picked up my daughter at her high school and the next day a friend of hers asked if her boyfriend (meaning me) was in college. What I don’t get much of is the attention of women under 30 anymore. This is fine with me. What could we possibly have in common? OK, besides that.

Hey Bud-

I came to Connecticut a couple of weeks ago for my job and now that I’m here I have nothin to do! I read your profile… You’re cute and I liked what you had to say :). I’m 21/F/single and I like a guy who is easy to be comfortable around. I’m into a guy who is a little bit older than me. You say you’re 55 so I guess that means you 😉 My friend Jen from back home suggested I tried using myspace to meet people in my area. I just signed up and my profile sux hehe. I do have a blog/profile page at (her site was here) … I have alot of photos and stuff up if you wanna see me 😉 I also left ya a personal message on my blog so come check it out k? Lookin forward to chattin with ya, Kristy
Now of course I knew that this could not be serious. Now fortunately I was expecting less than nothing by clicking on her link. As great looking and youthful as I am, I am 55. She says she’s 21. Shockingly this is what I got by clicking on her “site”. (Of course I clicked it. You just have to be curious.)OMG. She may have been less than truthful. I would not be surprised if she (gasp) has sent this same email to others. The shame. The humanity. I thought she really liked me. I was planning our wedding and everything. Oh well, maybe my next My Space email will be better. One can only hope.
