  1. It’s this finger pointing from one side of the aisle to the other that keeps all the fat hogs in power on both sides of the aisle.

We just do not agree at all on this point. You do not have it right and I have it wrong…it just isn’t that simple Bud.

  2. Sandee-
I agree that both political parties are to blane. However, do you think there is any shot at any significantly better outcome in the near future? If we are going to pull out during this civil war than I am selfish. I want less American casualities.

You are right that nothing is simple. Thanks for commenting, as always!

  3. I love you and Mimi Bud…Just have to say my piece too. I don’t like the casualities either. What happens if we leave and the whole county goes up in smoke. I fear that is what will happen. It’s bad enough already.

I’m not saying we should have gone to Iraq…But we are there, and can we just leave? Tough question.

I feel better now… See you tomorrow. 🙂

  4. Sandee-

You’re right. That’s why I usually stick to comedy. It’s okay not to always agree…

  5. Articulate. Passionate. True Bud.
My favorite quote from this thoughtful article regarding the liberal mindset,
“We shall never blame those who serve in a war for the mistakes of our political leaders.”

I am proud of this man.
    I love this man.

    Well done.
(Sorry, Bud, for getting sentimental in a comment but I had to say it.)

  6. Bill Maher aptly and often points out that the folks who are saying that pulling out of Iraq now would cause more casualties and create more instability and chaos in the Middle East have been wrong about absolutely everything else thus far. Iraq has no connection to 9/11. There were no WMDs.

There is plenty of blame on both sides of the aisle. What was with those dems we elected fall NOT INSISTING on a timetable for troop withdrawal in last week’s vote? Isn’t this why we elected them?

We stayed AND the whole country is going up in smoke. How long are we going to stay at the cost of thousands of lives? There are over 3400 American families missing their Moms and Dads, daughters and sons…How much more are we willing to sacrifice for people who very clearly don’t want or require our involvement?

  7. Heath-
I think both Bill Maher and Jon Stewart have it right on the money. I could not agree with you more about the dems. No onions what-so-ever!
